Baxter State Park
Considered a major park, Baxter State Park is located in Northern Maine and known for the state’s highest peak. The Baxter Park Headquarters, approximately 25 miles from Baxter State Park, is located in Millinocket, the Gateway to Mt. Katahdin and Baxter State Park.
